cricketTeamThe Ghana High Commission in Pretoria has donated items to the Ghana Cricket Team who arrived in South Africa to participate in the ICC Africa T 20 Division One Championship from 27 to 31 March, 2015.

The competition which was held in Benoni, South Africa saw Ghana compete with Namibia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania in Division One as well as Botswana in a one game playoff in the WCL ODI playoff.

Receiving the items on behalf of the team, the captain of the team, thanked the Ghana High commission for their support and promised on behalf of the team to give off their best performance to lift high the flag of Ghana. On his part, the High Commissioner, His Excellency Kwesi Ahwoi encouraged the team to compete fairly and assured them of the support of the mission.
